Many RV factory’s offer tours where you can see an RV built start to finish. By seeing how a motorhome is constructed you can observe the quality of the materials and precision of assembly. Or, it might just be a fun diversion from the rest of your RV travels.
Airstream Plant Tours
Tours of the Airstream factory in Jackson Center, Ohio are available Monday through Thursday at 2 p.m. Friday tours take place after normal production hours. The tour starts in the service lobby and continues for ¾ mile. Eye protection and hearing protection is provided and for safety’s sake, no sandals or open toe shoes are allowed. Requests for special needs or groups of 10 or more must be made in advance. (937) 596-6111.

American Coach Manufacturing Facility Tours
See how an American Coach is manufactured at the manufacturing facility in Decatur, Indiana. The American Eagle, American Heritage, American Tradition and the Revolution are built in this plant.
Tours begin Monday – Friday at 9:00am. Those 16 and older are welcome. Safety glasses are mandatory in the plant and are provided. Ear protection is not required but is available upon request. Open-toed shoes or sandals are not permitted in the plant. No cameras and video equipment are allowed in the plant during the tour.
